You may have seen may blogs using adsense ads under the title of a blog post, but you may not have seen many blogs using adsense randomly at different parts of blog posts.This process of adding adsense ads anywhere in the blogger blog posts is a manual one, you will have to add the code every-time you want an ad to appear at a certain place in a blog post, but it is a fairly simple process.Here we will teach you how to add adsense anywhere In Blogger Blog Posts.

Step 1) Open a "New Post", write the content you wanted to write.

Step 2) Get your ad code from Adsense website, it should be place within tags as shown below -
<div align='center'>
<script type="text/javascript"><!--
google_ad_client = "ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxx";
/* Large Rectangle */
google_ad_slot = "xxxxxxxxx";
google_ad_width = 336;
google_ad_height = 280;
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript"
src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>
</div>
Make sure that you have copied this code to a notepad which is placed in a place that is easily accessible so that you can use this easily and as often as you like.

Step 3)Go To "HTML" of the blogger post and place the adsense code obtained in step 2 anywhere you like.You are done.

Displaying More Than Three Adsense Ads Per Page

Google Adsense is one of the best "Make Money Online" platforms that allows publishers to earn money for each click on an ad they get.There are rules and policies that one needs to follow to stay in the Google Adsense Program, one of them is that you are not allowed to publish more than three adsense banner ads in a single page.But as you may have noticed, there are several websites which have 5 or 6 Adsense banner ads in each page.I will tell the reason and how they can have 4,5,6 adsense ads in each page.

More Than Three Adsense Ads Per Page

There is a separate class of Adsense Publishers called - Premium Adsense Publishers.These premium publishers are allowed to publish as many ads as they need to in each page, they can even customize the ads to suit their website and revenue needs.

For example, mybloggertricks.com has 4 adsense ads on each page of the website, this is because that website has been chosen to become an Adsense Premium Publisher.

I strongly advise people not to try alternate ways of adding more than 3 adsense banner ads in each page.This will lead to a ban from Google, then you will end up looking for Adsense Alternatives.

The rule for number of ads per page in Google Adsense is -
  • 3 Banner Ads Per Page
  • 3 Link Units Per Page
  • 2 Google Search Boxes
Anymore than this is not allowed. Also Read - Best Adsense Ad Units.

Google Adsense Premium Publisher Information

Google Adsense Premium Publishers are a select group of people who run websites that get tons, literally tons of traffic and are of high quality.These publishers have many advantages and special features that normal Adsense Publishers do not have.

How To Be a Google Adsense Premium Publisher?
It is reported widely that a Google Adsense Premium Publisher requires to have at-least 20 Million page views a month or 5 Million search queries leading to their site.I feel this is not a bench mark that is set in stone as Amit Agarwal of Labnol.org is a premium publisher with just around 3 Million hits a month and Amit Bhawani of AmitBhawani.com is also a premium publisher with an Alexa Rank of 22000.So there is no exact benchmark to be classified as an Adsense Premium Publisher.

There is also no way of actually applying to the Google Adsense Premium Publisher Program, it is a by invitation group only.If Google sees fit to provide you with premium features and they feel that it would help their business, then they will themselves offer you to become a premium publisher.

What Are The Advantages Of a Google Adsense Premium Publisher?
A Google Adsense Premium Publisher has many different advantages that a normal publisher can only dream of, such as -

  • No need to have the "AdChoices" or "Ads By Google" logo.
  • Customization of ads is allowed, you can change color, size, font etc of the ads using CSS.
  • Direct links to search queries allowed (Adsense for search)
  • Allowed to place more than three ads on each page
  • Allowed to negotiate the share of earnings being given to the publisher
  • Have their own Adsense experts and ad managers to call upon at any time
So becoming a Google Adsense Premium Publisher is a tough task, but once you are a Google Adsense Premium Publisher, then your earnings will sky rocket and you can truly earn a six figure income.

Best Google Adsense Alternatives 2012 [CPC+CPM]

Google Adsense is an online ad-network consisting of publishers who are paid to serve ads on their site.Google Adsense is the best revenue source out there for bloggers and webmasters but for some reason a blog may not have been accepted into the Adsense Network (Read - How to get approved by Adsense?) or an Adsense account may have been banned (Read - Matt Cutts Adsense Account Savior).In these cases you may have to look for a different money source to your blog.Hence you may have to look at the Best Google Adsense Alternatives as a revenue source for your blog or website.Let us see the various Google Adsense Alternatives that you can use instead of Adsense on your blog -

Best Adsense Alternatives

Adbrite:
Adbrite is easily the next best PPC+CPM ad network that can give decent results for a blogger.I can assure that it is a legit network and I have been paid out and still get payouts, although the CPC for Adbrite is not especially high, it has a good range of CPM ads, I regularly receive around 1.5 -2.0 $ for every 1000 impressions on my other blogs.Hence I would recommend you to use this Google Adsense Alternative if you are unable to use adsense on your site.

Chitika:
Chitika is also a really good adsense alternative but only if you are a publisher who gets a lot of traffic from USA and Canada.Although Chitika has introduced ads even for Asian and European countries, they pay out very less CPM and even lesser CPC.If you have a majority of traffic from USA and Canada, then I would recommend this over Adbrite.

The Chitika ads do not look very professional and sometimes is plagued by "Answered-Questions" ads which do not result in any revenue for you.This may be the only disadvantage of Chitika.

AdsGadget
AdsGadget is the perfect alternative for publishers looking for an effective and high-paying ad platform that supports all geographic locations. AdsGadget provides an innovative solution for publishers by providing them simpler, more flexible conditions. Adsgadget requires no minimum threshold for payment or impression volume. It allows publishers to go live immediately after sign-up by easily copying and pasting a banner tag in their website. AdsGadget counts with an optimization team that is constantly working to bring publishers the highest rates possible.

Yahoo! Publisher Network:
The Yahoo Publisher Network is also available only for USA publishers and is not available at all for others, this is one of the most professional adsense alternative that can compare (up-to some level) with Adsense.The payout is good and the company is trust-able as it is from Yahoo!

Infolinks:
Infolinks is the best In-Text advertising network and is the highest paying one too.They have several different ads that look like text or convert a text into an ad, which results in very high CTR of around 5-6%, but the CPC is miserably low, sometimes needing a few clicks to reach 5 cents.

The good thing is they are trust-able and payout out through PayPal when you reach 50$, they are looking for ways to increase CPC, but there is no scope for this as in-text ads can lead to inadvertent clicks and hence publishers wont want to pay much per click.

Kontera:
The second best Adsense alternative in terms of In-Text Ads, they offer a similar range of options like Infolinks and the CPC is equally low, a close second best to Infolinks.Works in a similar way to Infolinks.

Bidvertiser:
Bidvertiser is another CPC Adsense Alternative network that has a very limited number of publishers so you wont get many different ads like Adsense, they have limited customization options too.But their CPC is slightly better than that of the In-Text Ads and a lot lesser than Adbrite and Chitika.

So these are some of the Best Adsense Alternatives that you can use to monetize your blog or website.

Google Adsense Wrap Text Around Ad Units - Blogger/WordPress

There are several ways to increase your Google Adsense CTR, one of which is by wrapping text around your Google Adsense Ad Units.I used to use this method of wrapping text around adsense ads until I felt that it did not look good on all my articles since it interfered with images and tables, the posts were not looking very good, so I do not employ the tactic of Google Adsense Wrap Text.But if the ads go well with your template or theme, then I definitely recommend you to use the ads as a part of your article by wrapping text around them, it will sure increase your Click Through Rate as well as your Earnings.The simple process of wrapping text around your adsense ads has been explained below -

Is Google Adsense Wrap Text Method useful?

Yes, wrapping text around Google Adsense ad units can increase your click-through rate by up-to 25%, which means 25% more earnings.Not only this, but when planned properly and utilized well, the Adsense ad units may make a blog or a website look better, unfortunately this was not the case with my blog.It just does not look good with this template whose theme is "Simple".

Wrapping Link Units inside blog post text can yield even better results.

Wrap Text Around Adsense Ads

How To Wrap Text Around Google Adsense Ads?

Wrapping text around Google Adsense Ads does not work when you just use codes such as <div align="left"> or <div float="right">.You need a better but simple coding to wrap text around Adsense Ads.

Your Adsense ad script

Code To Wrap Adsense Ads In Text To The Right
<div style="float:right;">
Your Adsense ad script
</div>

Is Wrapping Text Around Adsense Ads Against Adsense Policies?

Wrapping text around Adsense is a common practice even with many of the very successful blogs and websites but you need to make sure that your Adsense ads which are wrapped in text are clearly differentiated from your text, they both should not have the same font and styling.Visitors to your blog or website must clearly be able to tell the ad unit apart from the text in your content.

This method of Wrapping Text Around Adsense Ads works for both Blogger Blogs and WordPress Blogs.

Matt Cutts - The Adsense Account Savior

Adsense disabled Matt Cutts

Jef Poskanzer was an honest Adsense Publisher from the year 2003, which was one of the early years of Adsense.After nearly 9 years as an Adsense publisher, Jef Poskanzer received an automated mail from the Adsense team stating -

After reviewing our records, we’ve determined that your AdSense account poses a risk of generating invalid activity. Because we have a responsibility to protect our AdWords advertisers from inflated costs due to invalid activity, we’ve found it necessary to disable your AdSense account. Your outstanding balance and Google’s share of the revenue will both be fully refunded back to the affected advertisers.

Jef Poskanzer was imaginable surprised at this and he appealed in vain.He was also in contact with the Google team for a about 15 days which was also in vain.Finally he caught a break when he shared his ordeal with Matt Cutts who is a Google Employee, a very famous one at that.Within a day of Matt Cutts Intervention, the Adsense account was reinstated.Jef Poskanzer wrote -

AdSense reinstated my account earlier today, and the ads are now appearing again. Yay! I’m still having a conversation with them about what happened and what we should do to keep it from happening again.

Seems like there is a major flaw in the Adsense Click Fraud detection algorithm, many a honest working Adsense publishers may have lost their Adsense Accounts like this, Jef Poskanzer was probably the only lucky one.

Someone Else Using Your Adsense Ads?

It so happens that it is so easy for someone else to use your Adsense Ad code, this can be a very troubling fact.I have seen many instances where people complain that other websites which they have not authorized are using their ad code.I have also seen many others complaining that their account was disabled due to some policy violations by sites which they had not approved, but were using their adsense ads.So what can you do to ensure that you do not end up in this kind of a predicament?

As you can see in the picture, in your Adsense Account you can check the sites that are running your adsense ad code in the "Sites" part of the report.I had this un-authorized website called 'harrisontechnologies' using my ad-code, now I do not know if it was on purpose or they used it inadvertently, but  I did not want them to use it.

So all I did was got to the allowed URL's option in my adsense account and set only the websites that I authorized to be able to use my Adsense Ads.

Once you have done this, the ads will continue to appear in the un-authorized websites but they will not be counted for any purpose.
