Don't Use Generic Stock Photos in your Articles

Stock photos are free to use with proper accreditation, are of good quality, but are they effective in improving your Article?Do they add any real value to your Article?

Generic Stock Photos are ignored

A recent study by UseIt has revealed that most people who read your articles, will probably not look at the Generic Stock Images that you have put up to supplement your Article. In the above picture you can clearly see what people look at when they are reading your article, as you can see, no one seems to have even batted and eye at the Generic Photo of seemingly "fake people".

Readers want to see Real People in real life situations in an image, otherwise their brain is just not wired to pay attention. So if you want to use Images in your articles, then be sure that you use only Images that engage the readers and depict what you have written, otherwise it is just a waste of time.
