Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy Note Released

Samsung Galaxy Note will finally get the ICS ( Ice Cream Sandwich) Android 4.0 OS as Samsung has begun the rolling out process of the new Operating Software. There is no official conformation yet, hence the release schedule is sketchy to say the least.

Here are some of the updates that come with the ICS 4.0 -
  • Updated TouchWiz user interface.
  • The new Video Everywhere feature allows the Galaxy S Note users play a video in part of the screen, while rest of the screen can be used for other purposes such as texting or taking notes. We had already seen this feature on the Samsung Galaxy S3.
  • New S Note apps including an advanced note taking feature, which will definitely help those business professionals.
  • My Story feature that lets you make digital cards for your friends and family, easily.
  • S Memo has also been upgraded allowing users to record their ideas direct from the home-screen.
These features are definitely going to be welcomed by the Galaxy Note users, I especially liked the Video Everywhere feature, this is a unique that has been coming in the latest Samsung Phones running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The ICS Android 4.0 has been dubbed as the "Premium Suite", depicted here in this video -

Devin Balentina, posted an image of the Android 4.0 update for Galaxy Note on Twitter, hence confirming this.

So if you own a Samsung Galaxy S Note, then go ahead and get this software update, the update would be about 320MB, so you can be sure that you will have a lot of changes.
