Google came out with a new Doodle today, the Howard Carter Google Doodle.As these doodles always do, an important person was celebrated.Howard Carter, who is noted as a discoverer of the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922, was a passionate Egyptologist.
Howard Carter was born on May 9, 1874 in London, and at the age of 17 he went on an archaeological expedition with a senior Egyptologist.This changed his life, he soon realized this was what he wanted to do with his life, hence he became an Egyptologist and made one of the greatest discoveries of all time, the tomb of the teenage king Tutankhamun.
Google celebrates such great events and great people of the past through their regular Google Doodles.These Google Doodles are usually pictures, but sometimes YouTube videos are also embedded.
