In a shocking event today, many Indian Government Websites were hacked by a group called Anonymous. This seems to be an attempt to retaliate against the recent internet censorship adopted by India.Anonymous has opposed the banning of sites such as Daily Motion, Vimeo, Piratebay.They also seem to have not taken the Blogspot URL redirection to country specific URL's lightly.
Announcing the attacks, Anon_Central tweeted: "Namaste #India, your time has come to trash the current government and install a new one. Good luck."
