Introducing the New YouTube Player Story Board

YouTube is 'the' best site for video sharing and is a site that gets a millions of video views everyday, so to keep up with this, YouTube keeps developing the video player, adding new features, removing bugs and changing the styling of the video player. Now YouTube has come up with a new feature called the "Story Board", a feature that will allow users to easily skip to their favorite parts of a video with the help of thumbnails for every second of the video.Let me tell how this works with the help of a video, created by Digital Inspiration TV.

YouTube used to usually have just three thumbnails for a video out of which we could chose one to represent our video, but this new "Story Board" feature works a little differently. What it does is it creates a storyboard full of thumbnails for every part of a video and then when someone hovers over a part of the video on the video timeline, they will get a thumbnail of the video at that point of time in the video. With the help of this new feature, you can easily skip to any part of a video, knowing which scene you want to watch.YouTube has promised to come up with more features in 2012, we can only wait and see what they will be.Also check out How to Officially Remove YouTube Logo from the Embedded Player.
