jQuery Mobile 1.1.0 Released - Download

jQuery Mobile 1.1.0 Released
jQuery Mobile is a website developing tool that has been developed to create websites for mobile phones, especially smart phones. The jQuery Mobile tool (Version 1.1.0) has integrated Ajax, theme development etc, which makes it a very useful tool with the help of which you can create interactive websites. The good thing about this jQuery Mobile tool is that you need not be an expert in coding, even if you are a beginner, it does not matter as it can build quite powerful interfaces using just HTML5.The jQuery Mobile also has a few useful data attributes. This latest version of jQuery Mobile, that is jQuery Mobile 1.1.0 brings with it some new improvements such as tool-bars and animations etc.

A lot of the older java-script bugs have been taken care of by using the position:fixed CSS property for the above mentioned added improvements. But there is a flaw with this new improvement as it does not function properly on all platforms, but fear not, a fall-back to the old option has been created for platforms which have problems of functioning. The biggest improvement seems to be that of the page transitions, which are much faster when compared to before.

Android users may get frustrated by the slower transitions, the newer Android versions of 3 and above support bulk of the transitions, whereas the lower Android devices will simply see a fade effect.

Here are some of the other things you will find in the jQuery Mobile 1.1.0 -

  • A new subtler Ajax loader design that is configurable.
  • A brief version of all form elements.
  • Support for data-ajax=false on containers.
  • A new data-enhance attribute that allows turning off jQuery’s automatic enhancement features for a container.
  • A new improved version of ThemeRoller, which is a tool for creating jQuery Mobile themes.
